Welcome to Sanchore (formerly Satyapur) is a town in Jalore district of Rajasthan, India. It is the headquarters of the tehsil by the same name. Located on National Highway No 15, the town is situated 154 km from Jalore and 45 km from Bhinmal. The town was historically ruled by Jalore rulers.

There is a well known Jain temple in the town called Godiji Parshwanath which is name after one of the Jain Tithankara Lord Parshwanath, and a cattle fair is held every year in April and May. An oil exploration company in 2004 discovered oil in Barmer-Sanchore basin.

The Narmada Canal, which begins in Gujarat, enters Rajasthan state near village Silu in Sachore tehsil. The Sanghvi's are one of the famous surnames in the town and most of them now residing at Mumbai one of the famous Metro ceities and industrial capital of INDIA. The other surnames are Shah, Kanungo, Munot, Burad and many more'If coming from Mumbai one has to travel by road from Palanpur to reach here .

Palanpur being the nearest railway station from there. Demographics As of 2001 India census, Sanchore had a population of 25,881. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Sanchore has an average literacy rate of 48%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 62%, and female literacy is 32%.
